my gear.

I admit that I concentrate on the fun and creative part of photography more than the technical aspects; I suppose I'm a bit lazy. Graphic design is my main focus (ha, haaaa), but I have much more fun with photography!

I shoot with a Canon 50D digital SLR.
Onto these camera bodies go the following lenses:
50mm f/1.4, which is a fabulous portrait and low-light lens
18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 USM
70-200mm f/2.8 telephoto lens ("the brick")
28-75mm f/2.8 Tamron zoom lens (I love this lens)
10-20mm f/4-5.6 Sigma wide-angle lens

lighting/studio equipment includes two monolights, a reflector and stand, a Giotto tripod with Manfrotto ball head, umbrellas, reflectors, and a light tent.

I have two backdrops: black (fabric) and white (paper). I also have various fabrics that I use to create backgrounds as well. My studio? my small living room.
